Intensive In-Home service goals shall be designed to specifically improve family dynamics, provide modeling, and include clinically necessary interventions that increase functional and therapeutic interpersonal relations between family members in the home, and prevent out of home placement OR assist those returning home from out of home placement.
Mental Health Skills-Building Services
Adults 18 and over
Mental Health Skill Building services provide training and support to enable individuals with significant functional limitations, to achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment. The focus of service is to help adults training develop functional skills and appropriate behavior related to the individual’s health and safety, use of community resources, assistance with medication management (but will not administer medication) and monitoring health, nutrition, and physical condition.
Crisis Stabilization Services
5 years and older
VFS Crisis Stabilization Services are designed to provide direct Mental Healthcare services to non-hospitalized individuals experiencing a time of intense difficulty, trouble or danger. This includes (but not limited to): aggression, self-harm, thoughts of suicide, threatening behaviors, etc. VFS has qualified Mental Health professionals who are committed to responding to a crisis 24 hours a day.
Designed to provide short term intensive services to individuals who are at risk for homelessness or hospitalization.
